Culver's is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.

History

The first Culver's opened in Sauk City, Wisconsin by Mr. and Mrs. George and Ruth Culver and their son Craig and his wife Lea 1984. Although the familiar concept of Culver's restaurants was well received, but was widespread. So it was in 1993 only 13 more Culver's stores. But 1995 began Culver's across state borders, access and opened branches in Illinois and Minnesota. In 2011, Culver's had 445 stores in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Tennessee, Arizona and Utah, the largest share at Wisconsin omitted. Most branches are based on the franchising principle.

Culver's driving force is the " Butter Burger ®", which according to the buttered bun ( hamburger buns ) on which it is served, is named. Also a specialty of Culver's Frozen Custards are a kind of ice cream with lots of egg yolks and high fat content, which is served in the following flavors: chocolate or vanilla, and a Flavor of the Day variant that differs each day per store. In addition, the menu contains the Culver's fresh salads, a variety of sandwiches, cheese dishes, chicken and a private Root Beer. From almost every product, including a low-fat version is offered.
