Curtis Armstrong

Curtis Armstrong ( born November 27, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan ) is an American actor.

Life

Armstrong was born the son of Norma E. D' Amico, and Robert Leroy Armstrong in Detroit. After finishing school at the Berkley High School in Berkley, Michigan, he studied at Oakland University, where he graduated in drama at the Academy of Dramatic Arts from 1973 to 1975. Before he moved to New York to play in several off- Broadway plays, Armstrong had his first role as Puck in a theater production of A Midsummer Night's Dream already.

Once in Risky Business he had his first film appearance at the side of Tom Cruise, it was above all his role as Dudley " Booger " Duddelsack ( Original: Dudley " Booger " Dawson ) in Revenge of the Nerds, for which he the next few years was known. Not only that, he was often called, even in the media Booger, his interpretation of the character was so influential that it turns on in the following years in films such as Lanny, One Crazy Summer, The Super idiot and The University of my dreams again and again for similar roles was occupied. The role of the " Snot " in the U.S. animated series American Dad is applied as a reminiscence of Booger and is also spoken by Curtis Armstrong himself. In the television series Rules of Engagement in 2011 Curtis Armstrong played himself and said that while he had to endure much ridicule, but looking back can also be proud of what he has done with this role.

Curtis Armstrong is married to the producer and screenwriter Elaine Aronson and gave me her a daughter.
