Curtis J. Guillory

Curtis John Guillory, SVD ( born September 18, 1943 in Mallet ) is Bishop of Beaumont.

Life

Curtis John Guillory joined the Congregation of the Divine Word Missionaries and the Auxiliary Bishop of Panama, Carlos Ambrosio Lewis Tullock SVD, ordained him a priest on 16 December 1972.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 29 December 1987 Titular Bishop of Stagnum and Auxiliary Bishop of Galveston - Houston. The Bishop of Galveston - Houston, Joseph Anthony Fiorenza, donated to him on 19 February of the next year, the episcopal ordination; Philip Matthew Hannan were co-consecrators, Archbishop of New Orleans, and James Terry Steib, SVD, Auxiliary Bishop of Saint Louis.

On 2 June 2000, he was appointed Bishop of Beaumont and introduced into the office on July 28th of the same year.
