Cuvier Iceland Lighthouse is a lighthouse on Cuvier Iceland, a small island off the east coast of the Waikato region in the North Island of New Zealand. It is operated by Maritime New Zealand. He serves as a landmark at the entrance to Waitemata Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf.

The tower was the first in New Zealand in cast iron ( instead of wood ) built lighthouse. He was put into operation on 22 September 1889, initially lit by an oil lamp. 1939, the tower was electrified and powered by a diesel generator.

1982, the tower was automated and since then as all lighthouses in New Zealand from a central control room at the headquarters of Maritime New Zealand remotely in Wellington. 1996, the power supply due to the high cost of fuel supply by solar cells on charged batteries was changed.
