Cyclophorus rafflesi
The Cyclophoroidea are a superfamily in the country live snails from the order of Architaenioglossa ( Caenogastropoda ). The species-, genus- and family- rich superfamily is mainly native to warmer regions of the Old and New Worlds.
Features
The right-handed or sinistral housing are very diverse. The housing shape varies from disc- shaped tower up, and even irregular forms occur. The lid may be calcified or uncalcified. The animals are getrenngeschlechtlich. The radula is taeniogloss.
Geographical distribution and habitat
The species of the superfamily are almost worldwide in warm climate areas.
