The Büschelblütige Lady's Slipper ( Cypripedium fasciculatum ) is a species of the genus Cypripedium in the orchid family ( Orchidaceae).

Features

The Büschelblütige Lady's Slipper is a perennial plant with a rhizome, the flourishing growth reaches heights from 6 to 35 inches. To fruit maturity, the inflorescence extends even higher. The two leaves are almost opposite, usually sit at or above the stem middle, are bare and measure 5 to 10 × 3.5 to 7 inches. They are round - oval shaped. The inflorescence consists of two to four or more flowers and is bent over to nodding. The petals are yellowish and - except for the less strongly drawn lip - purple-brown crowded. Except for the lip petals are lanceolate and measure 1 to 2.5 centimeters in length. The lip is striped yellow-green. At a size of 8 to 14, rarely up to 25 millimeters, it has an inlet opening 4-5 millimeters in diameter. The Staminodium is shaped oval to oblong.

Flowering time is from April to August.

Occurrence
