The Technical University of Cyprus (Greek: Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου or ΤΕ.ΠΑ.Κ. ), (English: Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) ) was founded in 2004 as the first University in the country. The university buildings are found distributed throughout the city. Medical training is done for example at the General Hospital in the city.

At the university, students are taught in Greek and Turkish language since 2007 at five faculties. The faculties are:

  • Applied Arts and Communication Sciences
  • Engineering and technology being
  • Health Sciences
