Czech Republic women's national football team

The Czech national team of women representing the Czech Republic in international women's football. The national reports to the Czech Football Association and is trained by Vladimír Hruska. To date, the Czech team did not qualify for a major tournament itself. She's successor team of Czechoslovak team that played 28 games 1986-1992, but also could never qualify for a Continental or World Championship. The Czechoslovak team was the only one that played a match against the women's national team of the GDR.

In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, the team met with Sweden, Belgium, Wales and Azerbaijan. Behind Sweden occupied the Czechs 2nd place.

In qualifying for the European Championship 2013 Czech Republic met, among other things, to Austria, but reached with four wins, one draw and three defeats only the third place, making the playoffs the runners were missed. The decisive factor was a 2:3 home defeat by Austria on 16 June 2012, which meant the first defeat against Austria at the same time.

In the FIFA World Ranking Czech Republic occupied from September 2006 to December 2007 in 19th place, but then dropped back to 26.
