D. B. Weiss

DB Weiss (b. April 23, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American book and screenwriter. His debut novel Lucky migrant Boy (2003) are thematically video games. Since then, he has been associated with adaptations of various science fiction and fantasy stories.

Life

Weiss was born in Chicago and grew up there as well. He went to Wesleyan University and received his master's degree in philosophy in "Irish literature " from Trinity College ( Dublin) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in " Creative Writing " from the Iowa Writers' Workshop.

Weiss has written a second novel, which, however, must be revised again in his own words.

He was commissioned the screenplay for the film adaptation of Bungie's Halo video game series on which to write based one-million -US - dollar script by Alex Garland. Rewriting was planned for 2006, and a release of the film in 2008. Moreover, Weiss wrote a script for Orson Scott Card's book Ender's Game.

In addition, White was commissioned to write the script for I Am Legend Prequelfilm, as well as a remake of the director John Carpenter you live.
