Dabelowsee

The Dabelowsee located in the Natural Park Feldberg Lakes, district Mecklenburg Lake District in southeast Mecklenburg. The eponymous district Dabelow is located south of the lake. The lake is located just south of the local part of Brückentin Wokuhl - Dabelow. It has an approximate length of 1500 meters and an approximate width of 1400 meters. The lake consists of an up to 30 -meter-deep pool with great western North Südausdehnung and a smaller six -meter-deep eastern basin. The northern part of the lake is forested, the south- eastern part and is surrounded by fields and pastures. On the north side there is the Youth Academy for Nature Conservation Brückentin. The lake has tributaries in the north of the Great Brückentinsee and from the west towards the Little and Big Gadowsee.
