Dag Bjørndalen

Dag Bjørndalen ( born April 2, 1970 in Drammen, Norway ) is a former Norwegian biathlete.

The launching of the ski club Simostranda Dag Bjørndalen began in 1986 with the biathlon. He is four years older brother of Ole Einar Bjørndalen, but could, despite überragendem shooting, never reach its successes. His greatest triumphs were Olympic silver in the 1998 season ( with his brother Ole Einar, Halvard Hanevold and Egil Gjelland ) and the World Team Cup in 1995 and various medals nationally and internationally. Between 2002 and 2004, he came only to four inserts in the World Cup, in which he almost always got points. Today Bjørndalen works as a trainer at the Norwegian Skigymnasium in Geilo. He runs sporadically national race.

Dag Bjørndalen is married and a father of two.
