Dagmar Schellenberger

Dagmar Schellenberger ( born June 8, 1958 in Oschatz ) is a German opera, operetta, musical, song and concert singer in the vocal range soprano as well, since the 2013 season, Artistic Director of Mörbisch.

Life and work

Schellenberger studied singing at the Academy of Music in Dresden. There was her authoritative voice teacher, Ilse Hahn. While still a student, she won the International Antonín Dvořák Competition in Karlovy Vary. This was the beginning of their Karriere.1983 began her theatrical career at the State Theatre Altenburg / Thuringia. as Annie in Freischütz, directed by Peter Konwitschny.
