Daguerre (crater)

Daguerre is a lunar crater near the northern edge of Mare Nectaris. In west - north-westerly direction, the two well-known crater Mädler and Theophilus. Isidoris is located in the region between Maria.

The crater interior was buried by a lava flow from a column in the southwestern border. This Daguerre appears more horseshoe -shaped than round. The floor is covered by a ray of Mädler crater. The highest parts of the rest of the crater rim is 1.5 kilometers high.
