Dainese

Dainese is an Italian manufacturer of motorcycle, skiing, horse riding and mountain biking clothing.

Headquartered in Molvena, where also the management, research and development center and manufacturing facilities are located. In the work of Vicenza, however, the purchase and sales department and the warehouse for finished products and shipping are housed.

Originally the company Dainese presented exclusively ago motorbike protective clothing. Later, skiing, water sports, horse riding and mountain biking clothing have been added as additional divisions, the motorcycle clothing is the most important area.

Are well recognized for its leather suits for motorcyclists. Through the logo with the brand name and the distinctive brand logo with stylized devil head, they are quite striking. As flagship of the company applies the multiple GP world champion Valentino Rossi, on the racetracks of the world is on the way for years with products from Dainese.

History

Already in 1971, was designed by the current President, Lino Dainese stylized devil head as a trademark. In 1972, the company was founded in Molvena (Vicenza ) and Dainese began its activity with the production of leather motocross pants. In order to improve the comfort of leather garments, elastic inserts with the clothes are combined. As early as 1974 could support as an official sponsor of the German motorcycle racer Dieter Braun in MotoGP Dainese.

1980 begins Dainese addition to the manufacture and production of motorcycle gloves. In 1983 Dainese addition to the production of a back protector, designed by Marc Sadler designed and together with the British motorcycle racer Barry Sheene.

1993 Dainese Technology Center ( D -Tec ) founded with the aim to accelerate the development of protective clothing. 1994 Dainese can present his first motorcycle helmet. Furthermore, the know- how is used as a manufacturer of motorcycle protective clothing to produce protective clothing in the same year for the Alpine winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding, mountain bike clothing.
