Damasichthon (King of Thebes)
Damasichthon (Greek Δαμασίχθων ) In Greek mythology, a king of Thebes.
He is the son of Opheltes, the grandson of Peneleus and the father of Ptolemy. As Autesion, the king of Thebes, according to a oracle had to leave the city, Damasichthon was determined as his successor. After Damasichthon his son Ptolemy took over the government.
