Damaskinos Stouditis

Damaskenos Studite († 1577) was a Greek bishop of the early modern period. From 1575 to 1577 he was Metropolitan of Naupaktos.

Life

Studite is the author of a collection of sermons, which was printed in 1570 in Venice. This developed a huge aftereffect in the tradition of the Bulgarian Damaskini, which is named after him.
