Dämeritzsee

The Dämeritzsee located in the southeast of Berlin and is located half on the city of Berlin and the other half in Brandenburg. The Berlin- Rahnsdorfer local situation Hessenwinkel ( district of Treptow- Köpenick ) borders the north and west of the lake, while to the east and south of the city Erkner ( Oder-Spree district ) borders the lake.

The Dämeritzsee is approximately circular with a diameter of approx. 1 km. He is a part of the federal waterway Rüdersdorfer waters ( RÜG ) with the waterways of class III. Responsible is the Waterways and Shipping Office Berlin.

The Dämeritzsee is a hub for the local recreational boating, as you can from here different waters, as the Müggelspree, Müggelsee, the Gosen channel and the Seddinsee reach.
