Damien Molony

Damien Molony (born 21 February 1984 in Johnstown Bridge ) is an Irish actor.

Life

After Molonys actor graduated from the Drama Centre London, he had as Giovanni the second major role in the performance of the play 'Tis Pity She's a Whore by John Ford in West Yorkshire Playhouse. Molonys role as a vampire named Hal in the BBC Three series Being Human brought him a first mention in the movie credits. He also played with the short film When the Hurlyburly 's Done. In an interview with SFX Magazine Molony said that he had to prepare for the role of Hal, research on drug addicts and alcoholics.

After completion of the fourth season of Being Human, Molony was seen in the role of Motl and Nate in Travelling Light, directed by Nicholas Hytner at the National Theatre. After performances in London the play toured in England, before returning in April 2012 to the National Theatre.
