Life and career

Damon Wayans was born in Vermont and is the eldest son of Lisa Thorner and Damon Wayans. His first role was in 1994 in Wayans Blankman, a film of his father. He also appeared recurrently in What's Up, Dad?, The sitcom of his father. He played the lead role of Thomas in Dance Flick - The very last dance film. In addition, Wayans starred in a supporting role in the feature film The Other Guys. In the comedy Marmaduke Wayans dubbed the animated Miniature Pinscher thunder. From 2011 to the dismissal of the series in 2013, he starred in the sitcom Happy Endings, the main role of Brad Williams. Already after the first season of Happy Endings he had been looking for a new role, as the series was deposed at risk. He was hired as a coach for the comedy series New Girl. Because Happy Endings was renewed, however, he had to leave again after the pilot episode, the Fox series. But he will return as coach in the third season of a four-part supporting role back to New Girl.
