Dampa Sangye

Pha Dampa Sangye ( Wylie: pha dam pa sangs rgyas, † 1117 ) was a Buddhist Mahasiddha from South India, the large parts of India, China and Tibet traveled. At the least Qomolangma place Tingri (Ch Dingri ) he founded the monastery Dingri Langkhor.

The two sects Zhibyed (Chinese希 解 派, Pinyin Xijie pai ) and Gcodyul (Chinese觉 域 派or觉 宇 派, Pinyin Jueyu pai ) of Tibetan Buddhism have their origin in his teaching.
