Dan Raviv

Dan Raviv (* 1954 in New York City ) is an American journalist and author.

Life

Raviv received his graduate degree from Harvard University. In 1974 he went to the news station WEEI of CBS in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving to New York City to stations WCBS News Radio and there then the newsroom of CBS in 1976.

Since 1978, Raviv was a foreign correspondent in the offices of CBS, first to 1980 in Tel Aviv in Israel and then for twelve years as a radio reporter in the London office. From there, he also reported from time to time on television by CBS. From 1993 to 1997 Miami was his official residence in Florida. Since 1997 he is responsible for the entire U.S. correspondent for the radio service of CBS News in Washington DC

Raviv is married and has two adult children. Together with Yossi Melman he wrote three books about the Israeli secret service Mossad, and the relations between the U.S. and Israel. A further book deals with the power struggle for the company Marvel Comics.
