Dana–Farber Cancer Institute

The Dana -Farber Cancer Institute is a world-renowned cancer research center and treatment center in the United States. It is part of the Harvard Medical School in Boston.

In 1947, the Children's Cancer Research Foundation of Sidney Farber, MD founded. 1974 was designated in honor of its founder as Sidney Farber Cancer Institute. Due to the support from the Charles A. Dana Foundation, the name of the institute in 1983 was amended accordingly.
