Dana Milbank

Dana Milbank (* April 27, 1968 ) is an American political reporter. He writes articles for the Washington Post about the White House.

Milbank graduated from Yale University, where he was accepted as a member of the Skull & Bones fraternity. He reported on the U.S. presidential election of 2000 and is the author of the book Smashmouth: Two Years in the Gutter with Al Gore and George W. Bush - Notes from the 2000 Campaign Trail. He also wrote about the presidential election of 2004, in which both candidates ( George W. Bush and John Kerry) Skull & Bones were members.

In a much-publicized article on the front page of the Washington Post of 22 October 2002 Milbank wrote about two allegations of Bush on Iraq. On the one hand about his statement that Iraq was only six months away from a nuclear weapons and, secondly, that Iraq had a growing number of unmanned air vehicles. Milbank notes in his article that these assertions doubtful if were not even wrong.
