Danba County

Rongzhag ( Tib: rong brag, Tibetan: རོང་བྲག་; Rongdrag or Chinese Danba; Chinese丹巴 县. ) Is a district of the Autonomous District Garzê of Tibetans in the Chinese province of Sichuan. In 1999 he was one of 55 519 inhabitants .. Its main town is the large village Chaggo ( Zhānggǔ章 谷 镇).

The old Diaolou of Rongzhag ( Danba gudiaoqun丹巴 古 碉 群) are since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-697 ).

The mineral Danbait was named after the place.
