Danbury Mad Hatters
The Danbury Mad Hatters were an American ice hockey team from Danbury, Connecticut. The team played in the 2008 /09 season in the Eastern Professional Hockey League.
History
The team was founded in 2008 as a franchise of the inaugural Eastern Professional Hockey League. They filled the void left by the Danbury Trashers had left from the International Hockey League after its dissolution in 2006 in the city. In her only season the Mad Hatters occupied third place in the regular season. After the league at the end of the season 2008/ 09 ceased the operation of gambling, it also did the Danbury Mad Hatters. Since 2010, plays with the Danbury Whalers of the Federal Hockey League again a professional team in the city.
