Daniel J. O'Donnell

Daniel J. O'Donnell ( born November 17, 1960 in Queens, New York City ) is an American politician.

Life

O'Donnell is one of five children, his sister is the television host Rosie O'Donnell. O'Donnell graduated from the George Washington University Law and reached a JD from CUNY School of Law at Queens College.

O'Donnell is a member of the Democratic Party. Since January 2003 he is in the 69th district election as successor to Edward C. Sullivan deputy of the New York State Assembly. Since 2008, he supported a legislative initiative on same-sex marriage in New York State in Parliament.

O'Donnell lives with his partner John Banta since the 1990s in Morningside Heights, Manhattan.
