Daniel Quaye

Daniel Quaye (born 25 December 1980) is a Ghanaian football player.

Already in his youth played Quaye in the Ghanaian capital Accra Great Olympics at the before moving at age 17 to the Hearts of Oak SC, the dominant club in the Ghanaian league since the late 1990s. According to the defender was able to celebrate five league titles and two national cup titles in the following years. These international club successes came as the victory of 2000 in the CAF Champions League, the African Super Cup in 2001 and the CAF Confederation Cup 2005.

Quaye came on 5 May 2001 on his first outing for the Ghana national football team in a World Cup qualifier. Thereafter, however, it took until the next World Cup qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany until he was re-appointed. After four qualifying matches, he was also in the World Cup squad in Ghana, but did not play. Overall, he played so far 7 times for his country.
