Daniel W. Herzog

Daniel Wilfie Herzog ( born July 9, 1941 in Ogdensburg, New York) was an Anglican bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States of America. He was, from 1998 to 2007, the eighth Bishop of Albany.

In May 1971, he was ordained a deacon and received in November 1971 his ordination. In 1997 he was ordained by Edmond Lee Browning and David Standish Ball and Gordon Paul Scruton bishop. He married on February 27, 1965 Carol Anne Penfield and has five children. In March 2007, he joined the Roman Catholic Church.

In April 2010 he and his wife returned to the Episcopal Church, and he was re- admitted to the Anglican priesthood.
