Daniel Yohannes

Daniel Yohannes ( born September 22, 1952 in Addis Ababa ) is an Ethiopian- American businessman and philanthropist. Among many other extra-professional activities, he is the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of the Millennium Challenge Corporation ( MCC), which is responsible for the allocation of funds from the Development Assistance Fund founded in 2009, the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA ). He was appointed by U.S. President Barack Obama on 18 September 2009 to this post.

Prior to his appointment Yohannes various positions in the financial sector has held, inter alia, M & R Investments.
