Daniele Hypólito

Daniele Matias Hypólito ( born September 8, 1984 in Santo André ) is a Brazilian gymnast who participated in all Olympic Games 2000-2012. She won at the 2001 World Championships in gymnastics silver medal. Daniele is also nine-time Brazilian champion in artistic gymnastics, 2002 Winner of the South American Games. They also won at the 2003 Pan American Games bronze. Her younger brother Diego is also a successful gymnast.

Career

She trains in Rio de Janeiro. As a junior she won the 1998 Pan Am Games and the Canberra Cup 1999. Hypólito was 27 at the World Championships in 1999, but helped the team to qualify for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where she was a total of 20.

At the 2003 World Championships, she was last, but qualified with the team for the 2004 Olympics, where she was a total Twelfth. At the 2005 World Championships she finished ninth.
