Danijela Martinović

Danijela Martinovic ( born July 15, 1971 in Split, Yugoslavia, now Croatia), also known by her first name Danijela, is a Croatian pop singer, which (as a member of the magazine) and 1998 for Croatia participated in the Euro Vision Song Contest 1995.

Career

Music

Her career as a singer began in the band " Magazine " 1990. 1995 represented "Magazine" Croatia at the ESC together with Lidija Horvat Dunjko. With their title Nostalgija they finished 6th place with 91 points.

1996 Martinovic left the band under the name " Danijela " to start her solo career. In 1998, she won the Croatian preselection Dora the Euro Vision Song Contest and will Birmingham in 5th with 131 points. In the same year appeared to her biggest mark on her album To malo ljubavi. It sold to date, over the borders of Croatia (especially in the successor states of Yugoslavia ), more than 100,000 times, making it the best-selling album of Croatian singer. Private

Danijela was secretly Marko Perković, the singer of the band " Thompson " married. Only when she got divorced, it was made public. 2006, the ecclesiastical marriage was annulled. Before and after her marriage she was and is romantically involved with the singer Petar GRASO.
