Dappy
Dappy ( born June 11, 1987 in London; actually Costandinos "Dino" Contostavlos ) is a British Grime musician, who became famous in the 2000s as a member of N- Dubz.
Biography
Dappy is the son of Byron Contostavlos, who was among others bassist for Mungo Jerry. He grew up in Camden Town in North London on, was repeatedly expelled from school and eventually went 15 years without a conclusion from. Later, he sat at the insistence of his father but his college education continued as he launched a music career with a cousin and a friend from school, as N- Dubz.
From 2007 to 2011, the trio was very successful, but Dappy made at this time repeatedly negative headlines and was sentenced to a four -month suspended sentence for assault.
When the N- Dubz took a break, Dappy pursued a solo career and took along with Tinchy Stryder, with whom he had already had a number-one hit with the N- Dubz with the single Number 1 2009, his first single without tape on. The song Spaceship in 2011 reached number 5 in the UK in June. In October of the same year was followed by his first proper solo single No Regrets. It was his own first number -one hit. In 2014 they produced a vocal version of Martin Garrix ' club hit Animals. The remix will be released in the spring of 2014 as a single.
