The Dar Młodzieży is a Polish sailing training ship - three-masted full-rigged ship - for aspiring officers of the merchant marine. It was 1981/82 at the shipyard in Gdansk built as a full-rigged ship of steel, as the successor of the Dar Pomorza. The Dar Młodzieży can reach a cruising speed of 16.5 knots and stay 60 days at sea without having to drive a harbor. She is the lead ship of the class of six ships.

The Dar Młodzieży is the first large sailing ship of Polish origin, which has successfully circumnavigated 1987-88 ( on the ride the anniversary of Australia ) the earth. Several times it has also the Cutty Sark Tall Ships 'Races (now Tall Ships ' Races ) participated ( 1982, 1986, 1995-1996, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2007 ). In 2011 she visited Travemünde on the occasion of the 100 - year celebration of the Passat.

The name means " gift of youth ".
