History

The group was formed in 2004 from the merger of several bands that were known in the Argentine underground scene. The musicians of the group are Matias Espinoza (vocals), Pedro Badessich (drums), bassist Ivan Resnik, and the two guitarists Juanchy Badessich and Federico Dimarco. Ramiro Arias was the first singer of the band before it was replaced by Espinoza.

In 2005 the first CD, a demo with 9 titles appeared under the name " Primeros Auxilios ". This was completely recorded and distributed on their own. With "Un Corazón Por Cada Ciudad " was released in 2008, the debut album, also with 9 titles. The drumming was taken by Marti Canrrizo, a musician of the former band ANIMAL. The rest of the shots of the album were taken by Javier Casas in the Infire Studios. At this time, the group of Argentinean label inmune Records was signed.

After the group for indie label Vegan Records were changed, began recording on the second album, which was released under the title " Imperios Por Derrumba " 2011. This album was recorded at Unison Studios Gustavo Cerati, as well as of Tue Madsen (already worked with Sick of It All, Dark Tranquillity and The Haunted together) and Jacob Olsen in Ant Farm Studio mastered in Denmark. To the song " Regreso " also a music video was filmed.

Dar Sangre played at concerts already with bands like Terror, It Dies Today and Throwdown from the U.S.. The band has played with Hatebreed, Comeback Kid, Silverstein and As I Lay Dying. On 4 March 2012, the starts " Imperios Por Derrumba Tour".

Music style

Music

The band plays modern metalcore, which is influenced by melodic death metal bands of the Swedish school such as In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. The song is dominated by Screamings, shouting and growls. Cleaner vocals rarely occurs.

Texts

The texts, which are written by the musicians themselves, mainly engage relations, internal struggles (eg: depression, heartache ) and poetry. The lyrics of the band have been written all in Spanish.
