Darcy Ward

Darcy Ward (born 4 May 1992, Nanango, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian speedway rider.

Career

Ward was in 2009 and 2010 Speedway Junior World Champion and made 27 August 2011 his debut in the Speedway World Championship Grand Prix in Torun Single / PL, where he was able to prove at once the 3rd place. Ward also starts in three of the strongest Speedway professional leagues in the world: for Unibax Torun / PL, the Poole Pirates / GB and Dackarna / S.

In 2009 he started in the German Bundesliga Speedway for the AC Landshut. In the 2013 season, Ward took the 8th place in the Speedway World Championship Grand Prix, despite a crash and associated down for four Grand Prix races.
