Dargocice

Dargocice ( German Eickstedtswalde ) is a village in the urban and rural community Gościno ( United Jestin ) in the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberg ) of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

The village is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 20 kilometers south of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) and 95 kilometers north-east of the regional capital Szczecin ( Szczecin). The village is located on the eastern shore of the elongated Kämitz Lake, near the southern tip of the lake.

History

The territory of the later Eickstedtswalde belonged to the manor Wartekow, which was acquired in 1828 by Heinrich von Eickstedt from the Pomerania uradligen family Eickstedt. Already in 1829 was clear this forest and began the construction of a new estate, which in 1834 was named Eickstedtswalde and his residence was. In 1840 he separated from Eickstedtswalde together with the Vorwerk small Vorbeck from Wartekow. The new unit was determined by the king to the diet enabled manor.

1895 received Eickstedtswalde a breakpoint at the line Large Jestin - Stolzenberg Kolberger the narrow-gauge railway.

To the mayor's office also includes the south of the village situated towns Wierzbka Dolna ( United Vorbeck ) and Wierzbka Gorna (small Vorbeck ).
