Darrell Thompson

Darrell Thompson ( born November 23, 1967 in Rochester, Minnesota ) is a former professional American football player in the position of running backs.

After Thompson had taken his degree at John Marshall High School in Rochester, he played for the college team of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, where he was an outstanding player and is still regarded as one of the best players ever at the Golden Gophers played have. In two seasons, he was voted his team's Most Valuable Player ( MVP). He scored over 4,600 yards where space gain and then was drafted in 1990 by the Green Bay Packers in the first round to 19th position. During his career in the National Football League ( NFL), he scored in 60 games 1,600 yards extra space and started eight touchdowns. During his time in the NFL, he began to engage in the context of a social program in the Twin Cities.

After Thompson 1994 his sports career ended, he returned to the Twin Cities and continued his activity in the social " Bolder Options " project continues. He is also occasionally worked as a radio commentator at sporting events.
