Darts of Pleasure is the debut single by British band Franz Ferdinand. It was released in the UK on 8 September 2003, in North America on November 18, 2003 The song ends with a few sentences in German language. History

The song played for the career of the group so far a supporting role, as the editor of the New Musical Express, Connor McNicholas was aware of the band through a demo of Darts of Pleasure. The New Musical Express gave 2004 ( since 2003 known) the Philip Hall Radar Award will change to Franz Ferdinand and announced the group on the cover of the magazine as "The Band That Will Change Your Life" at ( German Band, live your ).
