Darul Barakaat Mosque

The Darul Barakaat Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the English city of Birmingham and is located in the Bordesley Green district. It is run by the Ahmadiyya community ( Ahmadiyya Muslim Community ) and was inaugurated by its worldwide head ( Khilafat ul- Massih ) Mirza Ahmad Masrur in 2004. The unveiling ceremony was broadcast by the television station Muslim Television Ahmadiyya.

Were issued more than 1.5 million pounds to convert the listed Grade II building into a mosque. According to Syed Farooq Ahmed, President of the Ahmadiyya community of Birmingham, donated her jewelery women and children their pocket money in order to " make the dream of the mosque true." " Darul Barakaat " means " residence of blessings ."
