The Spiegelrotschwanz (Phoenicurus auroreus ) is a species of bird in the genus of redstarts.
System
This species belongs to a Eurasian branch, which also includes the Black Redstart, the Feldrotschwanz and Riesenrotschwanz that are supposedly related particularly close with the Spiegelrotschwanz, and possibly the Alaschanrotschwanz. These developed towards the end of Spätpliozän or at the beginning of the Frühmiozän, that is millions of years ago about three to 1.5, apart.
Dissemination
The distribution area is located in East Asia and extends from Lake Baikal to Korea and southward to central China. To the west it borders on the grounds of the Super Species Phoenicurus erythronotus.
