Davagna

Davagna ( Ligurian Davagna, in the local dialect Dägna ) is an Italian commune in the province of Genoa with 1924 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

The municipality is located in the valley Bisagno of the Ligurian Apennines. The distance to the Ligurian capital Genoa is approximately 25 kilometers.

Davagna belongs to the Comunità Montana Alta Valle Scrivia and the territory of the municipality lies in the Parco naturale regional Antola (Regional Natural Park Antola ).

According to the Italian classifications for seismic activity Davagna Zone 4 has been assigned. This means that the municipality is in a seismically inert zone.
