Dave Bruylandts

Dave Bruylandts ( born July 12, 1976 in Lier ) is a Belgian racing cyclist.

Dave Bruylandts won the 1998 Rating Ronde van Antwerpen. In 1999 he became professional with the cycling team Palmans - ideal. In his first year he won the one-day races and National Sluitingsprijs Leeuwse Pijl. The next year he moved to Farm Frites, where he Schynberg Tour, a stage of the Vuelta a Castilla y León, the Grand Prix Jef shearing and two stages with the Circuito Montanes Appreciation. In the 2002 season he was successful at the Grand Prix de Wallonie and on a portion of the Route du Sud. In 2003 he then moved to Marlux - Wincor Nixdorf, where he won a stage at each of the Burgos - tour and the Tour of Belgium. And he chose the two -day race Giro d' Oro and the Grand Prix de Wallonie for themselves.

In the Tour of Flanders 2004 Bruylandts finished third behind Steffen Wesemann and Leif Hoste. Shortly thereafter, he was tested positive for EPO and banned for two years. Since 2007 he is at the Belgian Continental team -Lithuanian Klaipeda Splendid under contract. In his first season there, he won the Zuidkempense Pijl, Dwars door het Hageland and one stage in triptyque Ardennais and at the Tour de Namur.
