Dave Hunt (Christian apologist)

Dave Hunt ( born September 30, 1926 in Riverside, California to David Hadden Charles Hunt, † April 5, 2013 ) was an American apologist, radio commentator, preacher and author of numerous books, some of which have been translated into German.

Life

David Hadden Charles Hunt, was the son of Albert E., a chiropractor and Lillian M. ( Wilkins ) Hunt. He came from a family that belonged to the Brethren movement. He studied mathematics at the University of California at Los Angeles and worked as a management consultant. From 1973 he devoted himself entirely to the ministry. He traveled to countries in the Middle East. Monthly, he published the magazine The Berean Call. In his books, he treats the theological themes prophecy, other religions, cults and the occult. He considers both Jerusalem and Israel had been clearly promised " the Jews " according to the Bible by their god, and if " the Palestinians " claimed that as per Quran God had promised them this area, then they were wrong. He commented on the Western culture and ecumenism between Catholics and Protestants. A negative attitude towards the theory of evolution was a subject on his radio show and his interviews. So he said: " I think I did you would have to be, in my opinion, an idiot to think thatthis universe happened by chance. " ( My opinion would have to be an idiot to think that this universe was created by chance ).
