Richard David "Dave" Robinson ( May 3, 1941 in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey ) is an American former American football player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League ( NFL) with the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Redskins.

Playing career

College career

Dave Robinson was born in New Jersey, where he was active in high school as a basketball player and three times won the state championship. After finishing school he studied at the Pennsylvania State University in civil engineering and played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 1960 to 1962 as a defensive end and end. 1961 Robinson won with his team with a 30:15 win the Gator Bowl against the Georgia Institute of Technology.
