David Bailie
David Bailie ( born December 4, 1937 in South Africa ) is a British actor.
Career
Bailie was born in South Africa, where he also grew up. He attended a boarding school in Swaziland and lived from 1952 with his family in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. After the completion of obligatory schooling, he worked first in a bank and then to the Central African Airlines. In 1958 he first visited the UK and moved two years later finally to the island. Since 1960, he is seen in various films, series and plays. Between 1979 and 1995 he took a break from film and television business, and devoted himself increasingly to theater. Today, it is mainly through his role as silent pirates Cotton in Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the Caribbean - Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End known.
