David Bižić

David Bizic [ david biʒitɕ ] Cyrillic Давид Бижић, Hebrew ' דוד ביז'יץ ( born November 25, 1975 in Belgrade, Serbia ) is a Serbian- Israeli opera and concert singer (bass - baritone).

After moving to Israel in 2000 he became a member of the " International Vocal Arts Institute " and the " New Israeli Opera Young Artist Studio ." In 2003, he joined the " Centre de Formation Lyrique " the Paris Opera.

One of his first appearances included roles in Manon, Pelléas et Mélisande, Saint François d' Assise, Il trovatore, Tristan and Isolde, and House of the Dead. At the Paris Opera (Opéra Bastille ) he sang Leporello in Don Giovanni and Massetto Schaunard in La Bohème, Mathieu in Andrea Chénier.

Bass-baritone is particularly for his interpretation of Mozart as Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro ( Opera Angers- Nantes Opéra national du Rhin in Strasbourg, Opéra de Monte- Carlo Grand Théâtre de Genève and the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux), Leporello in Don Giovanni (Wiener State Opera, Paris Opera, Los Angeles, German Opera Berlin, Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow, Toulouse, Rennes, Opéra National de Montpellier, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía Valencia), Publio in La Clemenza di Tito (Avignon ) and Masetto in Don Giovanni ( Paris Opera, Teatro Real Madrid, Festival d' Aix -en- Provence) estimated. He sang Escamillo in Carmen (Royal Opera, Belgrade), the High Priest in Samson et Dalila (Stockholm) and Schaunard in La Bohème ( Royal Opera House Covent Garden London and Paris Opera ), Albert in Werther (Metropolitan Opera ), and Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte ( Paris Opera ).

At the international singing competition " Operalia " in Paris, he won the 2007 2nd Prize.
