David Bustamante

David Bustamante Hoyos ( born March 25, 1982 in San Vicente de la Barquera, Cantabria ) is a Spanish pop singer. At age 12, David's music career began when his vocal talent was discovered. With 16 years Bustamante left school and worked with his father in construction. Alongside he sang at parties and events. His big break came in 2001 when he participated in the first season of the Spanish Operación Triunfo talent show and reached the final of the last three. As a backing vocalist of Pink He subsequently went to the Euro Vision Song Contest 2002.

Bustamante's music ranges from pop ballads to danceable Latin rhythms, as well as certain his first album Bustamante. 800,000 copies he sold them in his homeland. His second album Así soy yo (So I 'm ) in the year it was produced by Emilio Estefan and also contained his own compositions. From this album comes with Devuélveme el aire his first and only number-one single in the Spanish Afyve charts.

In June 2006, he reached with his fourth album, Pentimento, which was produced in Miami and contains mostly cover versions of Spanish titles, and a year later Al filo de la mistaken Alidad, the consecutive conquered the fifth album, the head of the Spanish album chart.

Bustamente is married to actress Paula Echevarría since July 22, 2006.
