David Calder (actor)

David Calder ( born August 1, 1946 in Plymouth ) is a British actor. He completed his training as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol.

His best known television roles were to see the George Resnick in the series Widows and Nathan Spring in the drama Star Cop In the series The Professionals, he served as Inspector Ian McDiarmid in the next episode The Madness of Mickey Hamilton. In 1999 he was in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough to see when Sir Robert King, in 2006 as Bishop of Grasse in Perfume - The Story of a Murderer. In 2008 he played the role of Roger Wilson in the film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. His filmography includes more than 100 film and television productions.

In 1977, he composed only and unique soundtrack for the movie Sleeping Dogs.
