David Del Rio

David Del Rio ( born September 29, 1988 in Miami, Florida ) is an American actor.

Life and career

David was born on September 29, 1988 in Miami, Florida. He attended the New World School of the Arts in Miami, where he graduated in 2006. He then studied at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

His acting career began in 2008 with a guest appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. A year later, he landed a starring role in the Nickelodeon series Troop - The Monster Hunter, in which he played the role of Felix Garcia. In this he was to be seen until 2011. This was followed by guest appearances in Southland as Martin Estrada and in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Matthew Lapaz. In 2011, he was next to Sarah Hyland and Matt Prokop as Ari in the Disney Channel Original Movie Movie Star - seen kissing up to the happy ending.

Currently, he plays in the Broadway musical In the Heights with. He replaces Robin de Jesús, who has suffered an injury.
