David Fernández Borbalán

David Fernández Borbalán (* 30 May 1973 in Almería, Almería Province) is a Spanish football referee División of La Liga. It belongs to the Andalusian association (Comité de Arbitros de Andalucía ).

He began his career on September 12, 2004 in the Levante Unión Deportiva game against Real Racing Club de Santander. Since January 2010 he has been an international FIFA referee and debuted on January 18, 2010 in a friendly match between Finland and Korea.

On December 10, 2011, he directed the classic Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona.
